B.A.Hons., B.S.W., M.S.W., R.S.W.
Founder, Unscripted Therapy

Unscripted Therapy was born from both lived experience and deep conviction. I began my university journey seven months pregnant, in the midst of an identity crisis, unsure of my path, but certain I needed to find something more. It was through navigating my own perinatal mental health journey that I was held and supported by social workers who truly got it. That experience changed me, and it called me into this work.

I’ve always been a natural-born rebel, someone who never quite fit into systems, and never stopped questioning them either. My path into mental health care has always been about truth-telling, disrupting what harms, and creating space for others to come home to themselves. I’m not here to perform professionalism. I’m here to stand in truth with you.

From the start, my academic and professional journey has centered the realities I know intimately: intergenerational poverty, trauma, substance use, ableism, and the ways institutions shape our sense of worth. My studies in psychology, my community work, and my ongoing projects have always returned to the same thread: the harm of systems that treat people as problems to fix, and the radical power of being seen as whole.

I completed my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work at York University, and have worked in community settings, supporting people impacted by poverty, racism, trauma, and systemic violence.

This private practice has been a dream since day one. I am so grateful to be here in alignment with where I truly want to be, and in a space I’ve built with care. My mission is simple: to create a space where you belong, too.
